I remember when LinkedIn was the network for connecting professionals, looking for jobs, sharing technical knowledge…
Now I see:
📊 Meaningless surveys that only seek easy interaction.
😭 Dramatic stories (real or invented) seeking likes and comments.
🤳 Selfies and forced poses to “humanize the brand” (or the ego).
🔄 Recycled or copied content from years ago, presented as “innovation.”
💬 Heated discussions on any topic, just like on Twitter.
I understand the need for visibility, but at what cost? It seems that some people are only looking to be “Top Voice” or “Influencer” by making noise, without contributing any real value.
If you are looking for clients or work here:
✅ Share your experience and knowledge.
✅ Show real results (with data, not just cropped screenshots).
✅ Interact genuinely in relevant posts in your niche.
✅ Be professional (yes, it’s still possible).
Leave the showmanship for other platforms. LinkedIn can (still) be a powerful tool if we use it well.
